He as already proven himself as you can see below is an example of one of his progeny. Braunvieh Group

2003 Shaka Beukes carries two copies of the favourable form of the GeneSTAR Tenderness gene. This is the highest rating for the Tenderness gene.

The proof was on the plate as those bulls sired Shaka were marketed locally to consumers looking for Braunvieh Beef. All reports were favourable as the feedback resulted in comments about the tenderness, flavour, lack of excess fat and ample marbling.

This group of young bulls also gained on average, 4.01 pounds per day while on feed. During the last 42 days before slaughter, they averaged 4.82 pounds per day. All of the bulls graded " AA" marbling with a 64% yield grade. We were very happy with the results of this group.

October 2001 2001 Weaning Results

This years spring calf crop was sired by Fieldstone Forerunner (sired by Ricco) and Fieldstone Justice (sired By the Swiss Bull Medor). The heifer calves ended up weighing over 700 lbs despite the driest conditions we have ever experienced at the farm.  Fieldstone Forerunner has already proven himself and did not disappoint us again this year.
We were excited to see Fieldstone Justices calves and his results. He has added frame, growth and style to this year's calf crop.
Below is an example of progeny from Fieldstone Justice.
